Why I Want to Take a TEFL Course with Online Learning and Classroom Experience

I want to take a TEFL course that offers both online learning and real classroom experience because I believe this combination gives me the best foundation to become a confident and capable English teacher. The flexibility of online study allows me to learn the essential theory—such as grammar, lesson planning, and teaching techniques—at my own pace, while still being guided by experienced instructors. This is ideal for me, as I can fit study around my current schedule and build a solid understanding of the core concepts.

At the same time, I know that no amount of theory can fully prepare someone for the real-life experience of standing in front of a classroom. That’s why the practical, in-person teaching component is so important to me. I want the chance to apply what I’ve learned in a real classroom with actual students, receive feedback, and build the confidence that only hands-on experience can provide.

Learning how to manage a classroom, adjust to students' needs, and deliver engaging lessons is something I know can only be truly developed through practice. Being able to do that in a supported environment, with trainers who are there to guide me, makes this kind of TEFL course especially valuable.

Overall, I’m excited to gain the tools, skills, and confidence I need to teach English effectively—both in Thailand and anywhere else in the world that this journey might take me.
